  • Traffic Controllers

    PTM Pilbara Traffic Management is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified Traffic Controllers for employment within their operations based throughout the Pilbara.



    Essential Criteria:

    • Proven work experience as a traffic controller

    • Excellent knowledge of traffic control procedures/protocols

    • Traffic Control qualifications (Basic Worksite Traffic Management & Traffic Controller, Advanced Worksite Traffic Management)

    • White/Blue Card

    • Ability to pass Cat 1 Medical

    • Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen

    • C Class Drivers Licence

    • Ability to work days/nights/weekends as required

    • Right to work in Australia

    • Strong English written and verbal communication skills



    Desirable Criteria:

    Applicants who possess the following will be highly desirable (not essential) -

    • Working within Vicinity of Rail Qualifications relevant to the network (Rio Tinto/BHP/FMG)

    • Rio Tinto Inductions

    • BHP Inductions

  • Rail Safeworkers

    PTM Pilbara Traffic Management is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified Rail Safeworkers for employment within their operations based throughout the Pilbara.



    Essential Criteria:

    • M1-M5 Rail Safeworking inductions/qualifications through Rio Tinto

    • Familiar with the Rio Tinto Rail Network

    • Valid WA Drivers License (C Class)

    • Valid Construction White Card

    • Clear communication skills, ability to take instructions 

    • Able to pass a Cat 1 Medical along with frequent Drug & Alcohol tests

    • Valid Australian work rights (visa holders welcome)

  • Office Manager

    Pilbara Traffic Management requires an Office Manager on a full time basis at our new office in Port Headland, WA.



    Duties will include:



    • Support company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.

    • Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

    • Mobilise staff to various projects throughout the Pilbara ensuring they have all the necessary qualifications and training.

    • Liaise with clients regarding past, current and future projects.

    • Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.

    • Organise local and FIFO accommodation & flights.

    • Manage the company fleet and hire from third parties when needed.

    • Work closely with the managing director to ensure we are fully compliant and meet all Australian safety standards.

    • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

    Salary will be between $90-100K per year depending on experience.



    You must have a relevant AQF Diploma or at least 1 year experience in the role.

  • Receptionist

    Pilbara Traffic Management requires a Receptionist on a full time basis at our office in Karratha, WA.

    Duties will include:

     

    Greeting visitors and clients with a warm and friendly demeanor, directing them to the appropriate person or department.

    Handling incoming phone calls, routing them to the appropriate individuals or departments, and taking messages.

    Managing the front desk, keeping the reception area organised and tidy to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.

    Providing information about the organisation, its products, services, and policies to visitors and assisting with general inquiries.

    Scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars for meeting rooms or executives, and notifying staff members of scheduled appointments or meetings.

    Handling mail and deliveries, including receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and coordinating courier services.

    Providing administrative support by assisting with tasks such as data entry, photocopying, and filing, and helping with document preparation.

    Monitoring and controlling access to the premises, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining a log of visitors.

    Utilising technology skills to proficiently use office equipment, manage basic technical issues, and support efficient operations.

    Offering excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and staff, handling inquiries and complaints with professionalism and patience.

    Maintaining accurate records of visitors, calls, and appointments, and updating contact information for staff members as needed.

    Collaborating with other administrative and support staff to ensure efficient office operations and communicating effectively with colleagues and superiors.

     

    Salary will be between $80-90K per year depending on experience.

    Must have at least 1 year experience
