PTM Participates in Rio Tinto Rail Family Day in Karratha

Karratha, Australia – In June 2024, Pilbara Traffic Management (PTM) had the pleasure of participating in the Rio Tinto Rail Family Day, held in Karratha. This annual event is a highlight for the local community, bringing together families and industry professionals to celebrate the vital role that rail plays in the region’s economy and infrastructure.
PTM was proud to be part of the ‘Machine Alley’ display, a key attraction at the event where visitors could see a wide array of machinery and equipment up close. PTM’s booth featured essential traffic management tools, including traffic lights, variable message boards (VMBs) and light vehicles (LVs), all of which are crucial to ensuring safety and efficiency in traffic management operations.

Throughout the day, PTM team members engaged with the community, explaining the importance of traffic management and demonstrating how our equipment helps keep roads safe during large-scale projects and events. The team was thrilled by the positive response from attendees, who were eager to learn more about the work PTM does to support the region’s infrastructure.
